Personalized Academic Coaching

Helping Students Build Confidence, Mastery, and Independence

One-on-one STEM tutoring and academic coaching tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and long-term success

Adi Hanash, founder of Enlighten Prep

Meet Adi Hanash

For more than two decades, I’ve been helping students discover what they are capable of. My career has taken me from one-on-one tutoring to executive leadership at global education companies, where I helped create learning experiences for students around the world.

Along the way, I realized the most meaningful moments in education don’t happen in boardrooms or product meetings. They happen when a student finally understands something they once believed was beyond their reach.

That’s why I founded Enlighten Prep.

Today I combine deep STEM expertise with personalized coaching that helps students master difficult subjects, build stronger study habits, and become more confident, independent learners.

Whether we’re preparing for tomorrow’s exam or working toward long-term academic goals, my mission is simple:

Help every student discover what they’re capable of.

Why Families Choose Enlighten Prep

Parents aren’t looking for another tutor. They’re looking for someone who understands their child, challenges them academically, and helps them build the confidence and independence to thrive.

What Sets Enlighten Prep Apart

  • 20+ years of teaching, tutoring, and coaching students

  • Executive leadership experience across global education organizations

  • Specialized in STEM subjects, including Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus, alongside comprehensive SAT/ACT preparation and executive skills coaching

  • Personalized one-on-one coaching tailored to each student’s goals and learning style

  • A whole-student approach that builds confidence, organization, and independent learning.

My Approach

Every student is different. Every learning plan should be too.

Some students come to me because they’re struggling in AP Chemistry. Others want to raise an ACT score, prepare for Calculus, or build stronger study habits. Whatever brings a student to Enlighten Prep, my approach begins the same way: by understanding where they are today and where they want to go.

The goal isn’t simply to solve today’s homework. It’s to build the skills and confidence they’ll rely on long after tutoring ends.

How We Work Together

Understand

We start by identifying the student’s goals, current challenges, learning style, and where support can have the greatest impact.

Build

From there, we create a plan around the student, rather than a predetermined curriculum, and adapt it as their needs and goals evolve.

Coach

In each session, we work through challenging material while strengthening problem-solving, study habits, organization, and confidence.

Grow

Better grades and stronger test scores matter. But lasting success means developing the confidence and independence to tackle new challenges without relying on a tutor forever.

The best tutoring isn’t about creating dependence. It’s about helping students discover they no longer need you.

Every student is different, and every family has different goals.

The first conversation is an opportunity to learn more about your student, answer your questions, and discuss whether I am the right fit for your student’s goals.

If it sounds like I can help, we’ll build a plan together.
