This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit enlightenprep.com or contact me through the website.
Information I collect
When you submit the contact form, I may collect information you provide, including your name, email address, student level, and the information you include in your message.
Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the contact form unless it is necessary for your inquiry.
The website may also collect technical information about visits, such as your IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, referring pages, and information about how you use the website.
How I use your information
I use personal information submitted through the website to:
respond to inquiries;
communicate with prospective and current clients;
understand a student's needs and determine whether my services may be a good fit;
administer and improve the website; and
maintain appropriate business records.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Legal basis for processing
Where applicable under the GDPR, I process personal information when it is necessary to respond to your request or take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, when processing is necessary for legitimate business interests such as operating and securing the website, when necessary to comply with legal obligations, or when you have provided consent where consent is required.
Website forms and service providers
This website is hosted by Squarespace. When you submit information through the website, Squarespace processes the information to provide website and form services.
Form submissions may also be stored using Google Workspace and Google Drive so that I can securely maintain and respond to inquiries.
Squarespace may also process technical information about visitors, including information about browsers, networks, devices, pages visited, and IP addresses, to operate, protect, and provide analytics for the website.
These service providers may process information outside Norway or the European Economic Area. Where applicable, such transfers are subject to the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure the site and to remember visitor preferences.
Squarespace may also use performance and analytics cookies to help me understand website traffic and how visitors use the site. These non-essential cookies are restricted unless a visitor provides consent through the site's cookie banner.
I do not currently use third-party advertising or marketing tracking tools on this website.
Visitors can accept or decline non-essential cookies and can review or change their choices at any time using the site's Cookie Preferences settings.
How long I keep information
I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, maintaining client relationships, meeting legal or accounting requirements, and resolving disputes.
